Silverbridge Properties is featured across 3 pages in this month\’s Caravan Industry & Park Operator magazinePart Exchange has become an invaluable tool in helping Park Home Operators convert sales stymied by the sluggish housing market.

Whilst the outlook is for the housing market looks more promising, sales on the ground are still generally sluggish. And this is having a knock on effect for a good many homeowners who have set their heart on a new park home but are struggling to sell their existing property; a frustrating situation for both the customer and the park home developer.

For this reason, many park home developers are now employing a variety of options to help remedy this stalemate. One increasingly effective tool is Part Exchange (PX) which guarantees a quick sale without the park home operator having to sacrifice its margin. One such developer who has seen dramatic results since using PX is The Elms Retirement Park in Lincolnshire who turned to specialist PX company Silverbridge Properties not long after the downturn in property market.

According to Tracey Coulson, Director of the John Kinch Group, “Within a few months of using Silverbridge Properties and their Part Exchange schemes we saw an immediate sales improvement. The turn-around was amazing”

But PX also has many benefits for homeowners looking for a quick move to kick start their retirement. Derek Butler and his wife Carole were hugely impressed by The Elms but with no firm buyers in sight and anxious to move to their new retirement home, the couple were recommended by the Park to speak with Silverbridge.

The couple were enormously impressed with the whole process. “Without Silverbridge we wouldn’t have been able to move to The Elms as quickly as we had. And now we are here we can’t imagine living anywhere else – even if we win the lottery”, explained Derek Butler.
