Legislation is fast approaching that will prohibit plastic single-use packaging in hospitality, including cutlery, straws, stirrers, plates and cups. There are also new laws that will make producers more responsible for how waste packaging is collected and recycled.
Bunzl Catering Supplies, one of the biggest global aggregators and distributors of catering products, joined forces with Simply Cups to provide an effective cup recycling solution to its many thousands of hospitality and catering customers.
As a Bunzl customer, hospitality outlets would benefit from a cup collection or send-back service that would ensure that the used cups would be recycled and turned into useful, functional products such as the rCUP.
To launch this new service, Barking Dog produced an explainer film that would help its sales force communicate this out to customers and for use across the company’s social media accounts.
We also produced a number of other films for the company including the roll out of cup recycling at Loughborough University and in the City of London, through the Square Mile Challenge.
